SPIREA are women's high-waisted linen shorts with front pleats, a relaxed fit through the hips, and cuffed hems. A structured front waistband and elasticated back keep the shape neat while allowing room to move.
Finished with a button and YKK zipper closure, belt loops, side pockets, and one back welt pocket. Wear them with a simple shirt or pair them with our matching linen vest and blazer. This listing is for the shorts only; the vest and blazer are sold separately.
Fabric & finish
Made to order from 100% European linen in our studio in Kyiv, Ukraine. French seams enclose the raw fabric edges for a neat interior finish.
We pre-wash each garment in plain water before shipping, allowing the linen to undergo its initial shrinkage before it reaches you.
Fabric color selection
The color shown is just one option. Choose from around 50 shades across our Standard and Custom palettes.
Choose “Standard” to select a color and an available linen weight from our regular palette. Choose “Custom” for a color outside that palette: we purchase the fabric specifically for your order, in the quantity needed to make your garment. This special sourcing adds 10% to the price. For custom colors, choose your color from the dropdown menu and add your preferred fabric weight for each chosen color in your order notes.
We will select the closest available linen weight to your preference from the mill. Your preferred weight is a request, not a guarantee of availability.
As a guide: 150 GSM is lightweight, 180 GSM is medium-weight, and 250 GSM is heavyweight. Ultralight 100 GSM linen is also available; please note that it is sheer, not opaque. GSM means grams per square meter. Our heaviest undyed linen is 300 GSM.
Fabric weight affects drape and structure; coverage also depends on the weave and color. Colors may appear different on different screens.
