Men's Wide-Leg Pleated Linen Pants | BONSAI
Generous linen pants with wide legs and front pleats. BONSAI combines a baggy fit with an elastic drawstring waistband, two deep side pockets, and two back patch pockets. Wear them with a simple tee or a linen shirt for an easy, roomy silhouette.
Fabric & finish
Made from 100% European flax linen, with French seams for a neat finish inside. Made to order in our studio in Kyiv, Ukraine.
We pre-wash each garment in plain water before shipping, allowing the linen to undergo its initial shrinkage before it reaches you.
Fabric color selection
Choose "Standard" to select a color and an available linen weight from our regular palette. Choose "Custom" for a color outside that palette: we purchase the fabric specifically for your order, in the quantity needed to make your garment. This special sourcing adds 10% to the price. For custom colors, add your preferred fabric weight for each chosen color in your order notes.
We will select the closest available linen weight to your preference from the mill. Your preferred weight is a request, not a guarantee of availability.
As a guide: 150 GSM is lightweight, 180 GSM is medium-weight, and 250 GSM is heavyweight. Ultralight 100 GSM linen is also available; please note that it is sheer, not opaque. GSM means grams per square meter.
Colors may appear different on different screens.
Size & fit
Baggy fit with wide legs. Available in S–5XL with Short, Medium, and Long lengths, plus Custom size. Compare garment measurements in the size chart to choose your preferred fit.
The model in photos 1–4 is 6’4” and wears XL-Medium in Black iris heavyweight linen (250 GSM). The model in photo 5 is 6’0” and wears XL-Medium in Kangaroo medium-weight linen (180 GSM).
For Custom size, provide your measurements and any requested length adjustments with your order.
Standard colors are our stocked linen colors.
Custom colors are additional shades of linen that we order especially for you. These require an extra cost, reflected in the price when you select Custom.

I was so excited to get these pants and they exceeded my expectations. They are so cool looking and high quality while fitting perfectly. They are exactly what I've been looking for my entire life. I asked for the ends to not be tapered, and to instead be wide-leg all the way down.
Made to order pants in heavy- weight linen. Sizing guide was spot on and tailoring from my measurements was expertly done (length was perfect). Quick shipping too.
Very nice merchandise, the linen is top notch, the sizing and the fit are very good, I just took a star out because of the fact that it is non first time! Fits for me but i'd prefer to have a string, a cord or something I could use to tighten it a bit more!

This seller has become my go to place to get quality linen pants. Most mainstream stores only offer linen blended with cotton, which doesn't breathe as well, and don't have as many color options. The fit is good, and so far after two different pants, the measurements have been consistent as described in their table. Be sure to take note of the weight of the linen that you order, the heaviest weight will probably be too hot for summer in most places.

Nice trousers, good quality, beautiful heavy linen
I bought these pants as a gift for my son. They are impeccably sewn. The elastic seam is flat. The seams are flat and enclosed in a gorgeous french seam. the pockets are even done with a french seam! There are no raw edges anywhere. I bought the Black Iris 250 gsm weight. It is a lovely hefty bottom weight but soft as linen can be. The color is a rich dark indigo blue/navy. I am very pleased and can't wait to see what my son, who loves to dance thinks of these! They are kinda Boho, kinda Japanese. Pretty cool!
