A roomy linen shirt made for wearing on its own or open as a light layer. FREESIA has a boxy cut, a rounded hem, full-length sleeves with deep cuffs, and a soft collar. A concealed placket with seven coconut buttons and a large flap pocket complete the design.
A contrasting back yoke and pocket can be chosen from our regular palette for a colorblock finish.
Fabric & finish
Made from 100% European flax linen, with French seams for a neat finish inside. We pre-wash each garment in plain water before shipping, allowing the linen to undergo its initial shrinkage before it reaches you.
Fabric color selection
Choose "Standard" to select a color and an available linen weight from our regular palette. Choose "Custom" for a color outside that palette: we purchase the fabric specifically for your order, in the quantity needed to make your garment. This special sourcing adds 10% to the price. For custom colors, choose your color from the dropdown menu and add your preferred fabric weight for each chosen color in your order notes.
We will select the closest available linen weight to your preference from the mill. Your preferred weight is a request, not a guarantee of availability.
As a guide: 150 GSM is lightweight, 180 GSM is medium-weight, and 250 GSM is heavyweight. Ultralight 100 GSM linen is also available; please note that it is sheer, not opaque. GSM means grams per square meter.

Size & fit
Oversized, boxy fit. Available in S–3XL and Custom size. Compare garment measurements in the size chart to choose your preferred amount of room.
The model is 6’4” (192 cm) and wears size L in Almondine medium-weight linen (180 GSM).
For Custom size, provide your measurements and any requested adjustments to the garment or sleeve length with your order.
Standard colors are our stocked linen colors.
Custom colors are additional shades of linen that we order especially for you. These require an extra cost, reflected in the price when you select Custom.

What a beautiful shirt! The color is extraordinary, the linen quality is exceptional, and the craftsmanship is sturdy and professional. Awesome company and very cool clothing. Even the packaging and labels are pretty and fun. I prefer the 250 gsm to the 180. The 250 has a nicer, patchier look, and the 180 looks like I higher thread count or so.
I would recommend sizing up maybe. I got large pants and shirt and usually wear a 36 waist pants. The pants fit okay at the waist, because they’re drawstring. And the shirt (I got the tunic) can fit on me but is a tad too tight. I wish I would have gotten the XL because I’ll probably outgrow this thing one day. The material doesn’t stretch like a t shirt, so it needs to fit on you how it is. I kind of struggle to get it on or off. But it’s acceptable when it’s on.
I’m still happy with my purchase and will consider buying from them again at a bigger size. It seems their stuff may run just slightly smaller.
