A classic linen shirt with a pared-back band collar. PETUNIA combines full-length sleeves, a single chest pocket, and coconut buttons with a relaxed fit that works with both jeans and tailored pants.
Fabric & finish
Made from 100% European flax linen, with French seams for a neat finish inside.
We pre-wash each garment in plain water before shipping, allowing the linen to undergo its initial shrinkage before it reaches you.
Fabric color selection
Choose "Standard" to select a color and an available linen weight from our regular palette. Choose "Custom" for a color outside that palette: we purchase the fabric specifically for your order, in the quantity needed to make your garment. This special sourcing adds 10% to the price. For custom colors, choose your color from the dropdown menu and add your preferred fabric weight for each chosen color in your order notes.
We will select the closest available linen weight to your preference from the mill. Your preferred weight is a request, not a guarantee of availability.
As a guide: 150 GSM is lightweight, 180 GSM is medium-weight, and 250 GSM is heavyweight. Ultralight 100 GSM linen is also available; please note that it is sheer, not opaque. GSM means grams per square meter.

Relaxed fit. Available in S–4XL and Custom size. Compare garment measurements in the size chart to choose your preferred amount of room.
The model is 6’2” and wears size S in Illusion Blue medium-weight linen (180 GSM).
For Custom size, provide your measurements and any requested adjustments to the garment or sleeve length with your order.
Standard colors are our stocked linen colors.
Custom colors are additional shades of linen that we order especially for you. These require an extra cost, reflected in the price when you select Custom.
These shirts are simply amazing. I now have 4, in 4 different colors, and planning more. I wear them to work every day as overshirts, and then wear them without an undershirt to lounge around my home. They are very comfortable, and make me feel like a rich man!
I can see how individuals may desire such a shirt for LARP, but I believe the purpose of these shirts transcends that niche demographic. Contrariwise, if this were the purpose of this Etsy shop, then these shirts would be manufactured with much less care.
Yes, the shirts are patterned after medieval styles - that lasted centuries - but if it looks good, then wear it! I wanted quality garments, and found them here. The linen raw material is grown, harvested and woven right there in Europe, and dyed and sewn by expert seamstresses. Can one ask for more?
